Thai Village Excursion
Thai Mueang town is located to the north of Phuket, in Phang Nga province, and south of Khao Lak. There are around 8,000 people in the town of Thai Mueang, still, it feels like a small closely knit community where there are stories connected to the both the Buddhist temples in the area, and also to the Chinese culture through the Chinese shrine in the center of Thai Mueang. Get close to the Thai people, the way of Thai life and get an understanding of the Buddhist religion and other beliefs that are connected to many happenings and festivals at various times of the year.
When festivals are coming up we announce them here and on our Facebook page to make sure everyone gets a chance to experience those as well. The Chinese and Thai New Year, Loy Krathong, the Vegetarian Festival and the Turtle Festival are some of the festivals we go to in Thai Mueang. Come and touch the real experience of Thainess.
Please visit our Facebook page for upcoming festivals; www.facebook.com/NgaTravelThailand/
